I sat at certain machines for over half an hour, in the sports book for over half an hour, and at the tables and in 4 days I got a total of 2 free drinks. I saw a less than 12 cocktail waitresses the whole-time. But they sure would sell it to me for $6 a 24 ounce can. What a jip, These casinos are getting awfully greedy.

I went over to Smiths and picked myself up a case and drink that everywhere

I noticed that started happening a few years ago. Between the tightening of the machines and the lack of booze, forget it. I don't bother anymore....

What are they thinking? Now charging for parking and buffet quality at the lowest level yet do they think they can attract people for ever?

I had a hard time filling up my plate at the Santa Fe Buffet recently since the quality and selections were of low quality.

You want to tell me when Sante Fe or any station casino had a good buffet?

Even though their buffets are better than the other stations, they are overpriced given the low variety and quality--the value to price is not there. Watching people graze while at the trough is cheaper than a comedy show--gluttony at its finest--there's your table, 40 steps away, flatware and napkins await you...nah, let me chomp this eggroll right here and push this chicken wing down my neck before someone tries to take it from me........

I only walk into a station restaurant with a comp. I would never pay for most of their menu offerings--the steakhouses being an exception, although I only eat at Hank's if I am on a comp--nice place with decent steaks.

I've never had a problem getting a drink while gambling. Here's a tip if you drink while gambling--tip generously, and your server will treat you well. Seriously, I see people order and tell the server "I don't have change, let me get you later" or saw a guy who had just got a hand pay for $1800 ask his server if she could break a $5.

I thought one girl was going to cry when I gave her $2 for a coffee and a bottle of water--sheesh, people, tip your server and she will keep you in beverages no matter what management is pushing.

If you think there is anything free in a casino, you will always be disappointed.

Yuck, no. You can make a decent salad but everything else is stuff to fill a belly on the cheap.

I was at Sam's Town waiting for the lunch buffet to open, just before 10am, and was sitting at a machine, waiting. A waitress came by twice declaring cocktails. Cocktails.

I haven't been there in a while, but Red Rock used to be one if the better buffets around. When the M first opened everyone was raving about their buffet but I found it kind of mediocre.

I play at Orleans a lot and have never had any problems with their drink service, but I try and tip pretty well.
