What was up with that parole board dude wearing a KC Chiefs tie? A mind game? It's not draft day, it's not remotely a day of football significance....but you pick out your ugliest Chiefs tie to wear to a hearing to determine parole on a former NFL Hall of Famer? All that media scrutiny about one famous prisoner, and one guy in front of the camera says "let me git myself sum curiosity stirred up". Classic hick move and dumber than a bag of hammers.

O.J. Simpson parole board member bragged about plan to wear Chiefs tie to KC sports radio | For The Win

When I posted earlier, I was just echoing my husbands beliefs on keeping him locked up. OJ is 70 now and I really do not believe he will do anything like this again, knowing he can be locked away from his family and friends. 9 years is a good chunk of time to reflect on his life and things he has done. And who knows how much time he has left anyway? Let him be with his family for the remainder of his years.
I still do not like the guy from past experience, but these are my thoughts.

Sounds like he paid his debt to the people of NV for the crimes he committed in NV. Just make a condition of his parole that he never set foot in NV again, and get him off the taxpayer's back.

I tuned in to watch some of the hearing.

OJ came across to me as a smug SOB who still takes no responsibility for the crimes of which he was convicted, principally kidnapping & armed robbery.

When you really get down to it NV hung OJ much more for the prior murder acquittal then for the purported crime in LV. Any standard citizen in the same circumstance would have gotten off much lighter.

I agree. I personally feel he is guilty of murder, but that was not proven so... I'm not a big fan of "the ends justify the means" in any case, even when it works in my favor. That is a slippery slope with horrible risks. We have a justice system and for the most part, it works.

But you came/clicked to the post that was titled: "OJ Simpson Could Be Paroled Next Week!".
It must have piqued your interest

Then don't come up against a Vegas judge who is up for re-election after committing a high profile crime.
