I'm guessing $30,000 worth of solar panels

That or thousands of hamsters running inside of a cylinder to turn a turbine that generates electricity

200 SQFT House or 2000 SQFT House?

How old is your residence?

Are you on TOU or standard rates?

Thanks.

Makes such a difference for a two story home, older build, 1991. We have 2100 sf, with a pool and cathedral ceilings. We have all electric, but have had solar power since the end of 2014. Our July and August bills were just short of $500 before solar. Now the most expensive we have had was this past July, 206. During the winter, including heat, is about 60-70. We are happy. ROI is about 6 years and we are halfway there. It costs a little more on our homeowners insurance, so that has to be considered. We have been in this house almost 20 years, so invested, and will add to the value when we sell. We have tinted windows, plantation shutters, and solar screens on the East and West sides. And attic insulation. What would be great is if there could be basements here.
