I've never been a sports bettor, but if I was in Vegas right now, I'd be putting some money on Mayweather. Being an actual boxer, and a good one, he's likely to beat McGregor. But since everyone hates Mayweather, all the money is going on McGregor, and it has the sports books freaking. They like to keep the betting balanced between opponents, and on this fight it's definitely not. They'll do well if Mayweather wins, but they'll lose their shirts if McGregor wins. So they're probably skewing the line in favor of Mayweather.

So this is a very unique situation. Unless it's changes since I heard this the line favors the probable winner. That's a really good opportunity.

I'll have a good chunk of my savings on him as I have every time he's fought.

The vast majority of tickets are on McGregor but the vast majority of the money is on Mayweather. Pros vs Joes.

The temptation to take McGregor is strong, one of the reasons the bets in Vegas are 12 to 1 on him. But there's still more money on Mayweather because the SmartMoney knows what the heart won't admit with McGregor: the Irishman has no chance. Zilch. Mayweather is perhaps the greatest defensive boxer of all time, McGregor is a supreme athlete in another sport , and that's that's all you need to know. Mayweather dominates.

So what are the odds for mayweather? Is this one of those bet $20 and if he wins, you get back $20.25 deals that make it not worth the gas to drive to the nearest casino?

My guess is not, if the early money all went on McGregor. If true, that's the opportunity.

You can get 5-1 on McGregor at South Point, and 1-5 on Mayweather at Stations.

A $20 bet on Floyd profits $4.
