With the new top of the line Raiders stadium I would say the chances are better than not for some games to come over

The athletes don't get squat.
Many athletes are paid. All get a free two week party. None do any real work.

Did L.V. contribute any of the bribe money that Garcetti paid to the I.O.C. to get the 2028 Games? I don't think so. If L.V. didn't pay, they wont play.

Just because you didn't hear anything doesn't mean it didn't happen. The IOC is one of the most corrupt organizations out there.

Will they be able to grow grass inside the new stadium for these games? FIFA requires that all sites for sanctioned games must be played on the same surface and I'm going to guess that natural grass will be the preferred surface.

They roll it in and out at certain stadiums. Both real grass and ASTRO turf. I guess LV is more suited for the Housekeeping Olympics which was at the mandolin bay 9/13.

Flush a few hundred bucks down the toilet, and call in a bomb threat at one of the casinos and try to drive to that casino at the same time on Saturday night. Then you will have a pretty good idea of how bad the olympics would be here.

They will do that typically for a friendly but not for matches that count. I've seen some poorly installed temporary sod for matches where the seams never meshed with lots of yellowing turf. It's hard to create and maintain a proper natural grass football pitch without a few weeks for the sod to take and sunlight.

They roll the whole field out intact. Mostly it sits in the sun. Roll it in when they have a game coming up.
