Ain't all that hard. The Meridien would be fine but I don't know how they work it...probably some kind of central leasing office.

If you want to go into that price range 2K+ you can also consider the Las Vegas Country Club which has two options. 2k+ in the high rise on Bel Aire or 1500ish on TamOShanter. You need to see both places...ToS can actually be run down though the overall complex is great.

There are also condos in Spanish Trails which are leased and there are nice condos in Desert Shores...DS is a very nice place with the exception of the condo having the problem. Try the Desert Shores Jockey Club for instance.

There are innumerable nice purpose built condos all over the joint that are fine.

Sorry - That should have been the Desert Shores Racquet Club.

I actually just moved to the east coast from Las Vegas. The Green Valley and Summerlin areas are the best and safest places to live. Like someone else had mentioned, you pay for the area that you're in! There have been some good posts on craigslist.com for condos, etc. Summerlin is still developing, and usually has pretty good rates for condos and apartments. But just keep in mind that Summerlin is further away from the strip than is Green Valley. However, the highways around there usually move pretty smoothly.
