If you actually fear for your safety then you need to call the police and have them trespass him out of the property. If he's just a scrub that's leeching off you, you have to follow the eviction process in civil court.

Here's a link to get your started. If you had further questions, please feel free to ask. If this seems too much for you to handle you can get a lawyer to help you out.

Eviction Process

Offering him 100-200 bucks to leave also seems like a good idea. Make him sign and date something that states he's giving up all his tenant's rights for the payment though. Make sure to change all the locks once he's out the door.

yep, just what I was saying if you want him gone. Regrettably in most situations like hers, a few sweet nothings in her ear and she'll be begging him to stay.

He can't be trespassed, he's not trespassing, he has residency. He can't be trespassed until an eviction goes through.

You can't get a restraining order on someone just because. It requires threats, abuse, stalking, basically forms of harassment.

Being lazy on couch and not helping pay bills is not harassment.

Could I be legally responsible or get arrested if I put them outside and changed the locks? I'm desperate and need some sound advice! Help!
I think this lady is entitled to a free kick in the cajones!!!!
