Well, most school systems in those highly rated Asian countries also teach kids to do test, and do test very well. That is why they scored so high.

China is extremely overpopulated, has a girl shortage, people are renting out literal cages to live in, their air is polluted, they just got a brand new dictator for life, and they tend to have the common sense of a stone. Not exactly a glowing example of teaching to the test.

I believe that you are out of touch with reality. Perhaps just a little. If you would fill out a from we could test my theory.

Of course we rank higher. We get to count our higher performing suburban schools, while everyone else is judged by the schools in their city limits. All of their high performing suburban districts are excluded from this data, with the exception of major cities in Florida.

The problem is, we don't have the high performing suburban schools that virtually all these major cities have. Coronado HS is our best comprehensive HS and they're weak compared to top public schools in major cities.

You didn't give them enough time. Let's be kind and give them a decade.
