Can anyone recommend a hotel in a good area preferably near the strip that may offer a rate for one or two months. Possibly even one of the major hotels, would like to stay under $3000 per month closer $2500.

This strikes me as a project for AirBNB, VRBO, etc.. Do you really want to spend that long in a hotel room, and is it cost effective?

There is an Extended Stay America on Valley View at Flamingo.
There is a La Quinta on Tropicana and a couple of Budget Suites. That is just across 15 from the strip.
The short stay (AirBnB ) places tend to be shorter than a couple of months and are mostly illegal.

I stayed at the Extended Stay on Maryland Parkway for a few weeks when I was looking for a home here. It was 6 years ago so my information is a little old but it was no frills and decent.
