Looking for attorney and steps needed to pursue damage to my property caused by neighbors intent.
Neighbor installed tubes from his gutters to my fence line which has resulted in causing a inline crack up the wall of my garage. I have pictures of the tubes and he has since removed the one that ran to where the inline crack is. I m looking for procedure steps and attorney to pursue. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I realize this will be a costly repair and legal fees.

Rightfully, who's wall does it belong to? A shared wall? But you call it your wall? Your neighbor may think it's his wall as well!

How about just tearing the wall down!

After leaving the "Walled City" of Sinless city, I'm now in a neighborhood in Tucson with no walls at all, and loving every minute of it.

Get a quote for repairs before you go hiring an attorney. Likely not worth pursuing.

Purported OPs garage wall. If it is the normal frame and stucco construction it is a minor problem. If the wall is concrete could be a more difficult problem.

And I disagree with you Tij. I have lived in homes with the walls and homes with no fencing. There is little difference in larger properties. May not be true for small lots. I personally prefer a half acre and walls.

OP have you talked hard with the neighbor? Over the last 50 years of home ownership We have had a couple of disputes but have always been able to settle them with the neighbor with no loss of friendship...

Always best to leave attorneys as a last resort. Talk to the neighbor if possible and don't threaten or take legal action unless absolutely necessary.
