Some of us are in for a surprise and not in a good way. Legal limits for liability are going up in July!

I got my renewal policy in the mail today from Amica and my insurance went up $200. And that's with no claims and a perfect driving record. I did some checking and American Family beat their price by $150.

Quite a few of us may be shopping for insurance yet again! I still find it odd that American Family beat Amica but that's the way it goes! If yours go up, shop! I was able to avoid 75% of the increase.

Contacted Progressive Right away and they were less than Amica but still $100 more than American Family for me.

Same here, about $200 increase with Geico, policy expires end of May... Thank you crappy drivers of Las Vegas and ridiculous lawyer ads enticing people to get into accidents

Average cost of a car is 36k. That is what the minimums should be.

Ins companies should push for driver training and harsher requirements for getting a license so we have less wrecks.

I used to be a runner for a law firm. Let me tell you, there are ALOT of drivers in Vegas that do not maintain and/or have automotive insurance. The NRS change sparked a rate increase for many drivers. I hope law makers/the State can continue to tackle the no insurance problem.

We always call around. We first ask the current company to keep our rate the same or we will switch, they never do so we always find a better rate for the same coverage. This time I think we are with Progressive. Just have to make sure the new policy is in force before canceling the existing one.

I have uninsured and underinsured. I got hit by an illegal immigrant with no insurance when I lived in florida.
