I am thinking of moving to a 55+ community rental apartment in Northeast Las Vegas. How is this area? I am a single female, so safety is of the utmost importance. Thanks

Makes little difference. I can't think of an area of the NE that I would recommend to a single older female. If if the complex is OK where you going to shop?

Rocco or Bob or somebody...this should move to the Vegas list.

Aerial link . . scroll in and click "Bird's eye" for better viewing. Appears to be located under the North Las Vegas airport flight path.

NOt a good place...hard neighborhood...basically "northtown". Close to the center of the bad part of NLV.

Marailene, I also would not recommend NE to a single lady or to anyone for that matter. Not a good area at all.
What is your monthly budget for apts/condo's/homes? Is there a particular area of Las Vegas that you have to live near or close to?

That is not in the NE, middle of north like Olecapt said. Not a good place! Stay away from the 89106 and 89030 area. If the manager is still the same one from a year ago, she is really great. She really tries with that property, and with her tenants. For some reason I can not remember her name right now, but she was a real sweetheart. I dealt with them for pest control. Which surprisingly, for that area was not that bad. I know that the complex is about 6-8 years old, I believe.

Yeah, rough area right by the FBI building. I drive by that area to get to the 15 sometimes and it looks like the projects. I would try going west towards 89108 or 89128

Default Northeast Las Vegas

You can check crime stats --will you be in the city of NORTH Las Vegas or a northeastern area of just Las Vegas?
