I recently moved to SW Las Vegas near Fort Apache Road. I was wondering if anyone knew of any gyms that have child care/watch? The few I've looked at (Fitness for $10, Anytime Fitness) do not. Any help is appreciated and I'm willing to drive a bit to get to it. Thanks.

EOS Fitness is great!
I love their movie theater (and they do have free child care ).

EOS for an inexpensive meathead gym.
LVAC for a hipster "social" gym.
Anytime Fitness for more mellow folks and/or retirees (Anytime Fitness is most convenient if you travel a lot).

Those are pretty much the 3 main ones (Planet Fitness also, but I know very little about them).

Can you please elaborate on this? Do you mean they have a lot of branches throughout the country and perhaps overseas too? And you can go to those out of state branches when you have the Vegas branch membership?

Yes to both. Anytime fitness is the best in my opinion. I've been a fan since 2007, especially when I travelled full time for work. But if you plan to to work in New York City, they are few and far between there.

Anytime fitness is much better than planet fitness unless your only concern is money.

Does anyone have some experience with 24h fitness?
Do they have movie screens? Are their classes good?
Membership rate is not so great, are they worth it?

You can buy the membership at Costco

Does anyone know where I can get personal training at a reasonable cost? I only paid 33.00 per hour in the Minneapolis area.

Unless one of your reasons for going to a gym is to get out of the house, I'd consider doing something that can be done in the comfort of your own home. No child care needed.

Lots of variety with something for everyone. 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions available that includes a 14 day free trial. One of the things I like best is that these programs "travel well". The workouts can be downloaded to your phone and done almost anywhere with minimal or no equipment. I've been doing these for a few years now and absolutely love it. Great results too!
