Has anyone gotten a duplicate drivers license (wife lost hers)? Do you need a form to fill out and bring?

Do they print it right then, or mail it to you?

I know you can do it online - only if you know the DL number (I do), but you also need the date of issue (which I don't have) to create and account, then you can request it online, as far as I can figure out.

Duplicate License or ID

Webpage says all duplicates are mailed. $18.25.

Make an appointment and show up 15 minutes early; find the line that says 'appointments'--it will be the short line. Proof of address and identity required and described on webpage. Call (702) 486-4368 before you go to verify any requirements. Never do a walk-in unless you have hours to waste.

She's not getting a real ID (as opposed to a fake ID? lol) so no forms were needed. 9:15am appointment, no line at all at general walk-ins or the appointment line. Waited 20 minutes, and were done in 3 minutes - got a paper that is a temp drivers license so we're good to go. Should arrive in the mail within a week or so. Wednesday is the day to go! DMV on Stephanie in Henderson, btw.

Anyone going to the DMV, the appointment first is the best thing to do! I had to renew my drivers licenses; made an appointment and was in and out in less than 15 minutes!!! The driver's licenses is mailed to you, but the whole experience was very quick and pleasant. Excellent job, DMV. Nice to know you don't have to spend a day at the DMV!
