The world shouldn’t bow down backwards to make sure everyone is sort of semi-functional or dumb everyone down just for the sake of the lowest members of society. History remembers the winners and countries have never been and will never be judged by their losers and dumbest members, they’ll always be judged by how many great people arise so the soil should be laid for greatness to thrive and no focus should be wasted on mediocre / average people or dumber. It’s a waste of everyone’s time and resources. Give me one Steve Jobs over a million derpy half-formed humans with nothing useful to offer anyone. You can’t fix stupid, but you can encourage greatness and fan that flame into a raging fire that changes the world.
I mostly agree with the sentiment, but you are very wrong about Steve Jobs. The other Steve was the genius.

Jobs and Woz were/are geniuses. Just in different ways.
Woz had the technical know how to make things work. Jobs had the business know how to fund it all.

This is why you pay the premium to live in Summerlin instead of just outside Summerlin if you have children attending public schools.

3 minutes north (Bonner) or 5 minutes west (Goolsby) and your children are attending public schools with proficiency rates 20% higher than Piggott.

The same gaps exist at the middle school (Rogich/Johnson) and high school levels (Palo/Bonanza).

My daughter is in Becker. I didn't want her at Johnson and Rogich had no open seats to transfer. She got accepted for a magnet school for 6th grade but there was no transportation so Becker was the best option. She is in 7th now.
