Two windows open. I see your point.

But.

The unit sits on a shelf by a big TV and it's usually a couple of degrees higher than the rest of the house. So I'm not sure.

lol! No. We have friends that have one and they are so much better than the one we had before (which is in the guest bedroom now) that I couldn't pass up getting one.

The only thing to keep in mind if you are thinking about buying one is the "tilt". The kickstand on these leaves the unit tipped back far enough that it has to be on a low table to read it. Ours is on the top shelf of a pier so I had to improvise.

I used a steel wedge designed to split firewood. I used strapping tape to tape it to the bottom of the kickstand so it leans forward. Because the wedge is so heavy it doesn't fall over.

I plan on doing a more refined job at some point, but right now other things have precedence.

We've been opening windows off and on this week. I mentioned just last night how much I enjoy the fresh air.
