Have good friends with a home in very good Boulder City. No way it is walkable. Ten minutes will get you to the highway and then a long walk to any useful places. Far worse than much of Las Vegas.

I would note that the big mature places have very nice walking opportunities including stores and restaurants within the complexes. Some of the property bordering SC Anthem have the same advantages.

Inspirata is also set up to be walkable though still think you will need a car for shopping.

I take a nice walk for exercise from my house (basically at the corner of Seven Hills Drive and Sunridge Heights Pkwy) that loops through and around Puccini Park. It's about 2 miles and takes 1/2 hour or so. Very nice area, Allegro Park, Sonata Park and Vivaldi Park are nearby. I love to drive (but could walk) on Grand Hills Drive from Seven Hills to Eastern through the Rio Secco Golf Club. Blue Heron Marquis homes is in there, pretty nice homes with some great views. You can park at the Sun City Anthem Center and walk around the area too, Revere Golf Club etc.
