I like to go jogging when the sun sets and at night. That is the best time for me.

[Note: The LV Runners Meetup group seems to have most of their runs at 4:30 A.M. which is never gonna happen for me. I can't imagine getting up that early to go running.]

Some metro areas are fortunate to have places to run at night like in Dallas [the Katy Trail] and Tampa [Bayshore Blvd].

In my brief time here in Las Vegas, Sunset Park is the best place that I have found to go running. I like it a lot.

However, it is not lit up at night. With the days getting shorter and darkness coming at 5 P.M. I haven't able to go running as much.

So, are there any outdoor public places to go jogging at night [that are safe]?

Thanks for any help.

Which part of town do you live in? I have a couple of ideas but if you have to drive 15 miles just to get to the location it sort of defeats the purpose of winding down with a relaxing exercise while you battle rush hour traffic.

When it's 110 in the shade that 4 am start time will make sense! I just go out in my neighborhood whenever I want. It's convenient and I have never felt unsafe. And it's just an average working class area, nothing upscale at all.
