I'm so glad I don't have dogs. My neighbors were blowing off something big. Sounded like dynamite. Shook the whole house. Dogs would have freaked the hell out.

Not all dogs are affected by fireworks, mine aren't. They also rarely bark.

It often depends on the breed.

Mine don't even seem to notice them. They're chihuahuas. They sleep through them usually but I've taken them to places where fireworks are being set off and they don't care.

Eh. I'd still prefer not having to walk an animal and pick up its poop. Bad enough I have kids. Lol.

I used to have three dogs. One of them was deaf, and the yellow lab mix was extremely sensitive to sound ( life loves irony ) so I used to put Yin in my walk in closet with my deaf Aussie to keep her company. The Aussie just looked at the shivering Labrador like “ what the feck is your problem?”

Went to Aliante casino and lost all night. Only went there because cranky husband didn't want to drive to Texas Station where I wanted to go. (too far he said) I will never go to Aliante casino again to celebrate anything. They suck really bad.
