You said you did break jobs and repairs, too.

Yeah, MOBILE. I go to them and do brakes, cv joints, suspension, exhaust, sensors, etc.

I'm looking for a shop space right now. It's not easy to find a space big enough to grow into that is also reasonably priced in a central location. I'm talking to someone about a spot near the convention center.

The whole point of my posts is this.

Make smart choices and work hard and you will have a better life than if you make bad choices and don't work hard.

It's a really simple concept, only an idiot would argue against it.

It's the classic "I got mine, screw everyone else" mentality that, thankfully, is being called out more and more these days due to the obviously glaring disparities.
No, we just don't like giving our money to the government and letting them choose how to spend it, given their track record of spending. The Raiders stadium immediately comes to mind on the local level.

Yup. Our schools are terrible and overpriced. Our police are awful and do nothing but extort people. Our politicians are all corrupt. We're trillions in debt and spending more and more.
We're borrowing money, FROM CHINA, to pay, TO CHINA. There's just not one single thing the government is spending money on that I support. And they are actively making things harder for everyone with their horrific policies.

We live on a planet. You're not stuck in one place. You can move. Since you dislike America so much, try somewhere else.
I moved across the country for a better life. You're just complaining about stuff you can't control and making excuses. Shut up and do something.

It doesn't make you any less of a troll. I seriously question what it is you say you do, and who you say you are, because your story keeps changing, you keep trying to redirect the conversation when caught lying or in the wrong, and you claimed you're a Millennial, but some other things you've said on here don't really corroborate that story.

You also keep putting words in peoples' mouths, not just mine. Like just now, stating that I dislike America... quote the post where I said I disliked America.

I'm not going to go away, just because you want me to. I'm not your child. You will speak to me with respect like you would speak to any other adult whom you do not know.

The H1-B program was developed for importing truly exceptional talent. Think: Brain Surgeon, Astrophysicist...

Anybody can learn the skills to be a Software Engineer or Sys admin. We don't need to be importing these people. There are just as many people here who want a piece of the IT pie as there are in India.
I think if you want to keep the US IT industry (or any other industry) competitive, then it would not make sense to eliminate H-1B visas.

In its simplest form, America First or make America Great Again or whatever slogan you prefer, should be about increasing GDP/capita. The current H-1B visa program (in the IT industry at least) indirectly contributes positively to this.

The article summary corroborates exactly what I said:

High-skill immigration did, however, have significant distributional consequences. In the absence of immigration, wages for US computer scientists would have been 2.6% to 5.1% higher in 2001. US workers switch to other occupations, reducing the number of US born computer scientists by 6.1% to 10.8%. On the other hand, complements in production benefited substantially from immigration, and immigration also lowered prices and raised the output of IT goods by between 1.9% and 2.5%, thus benefiting consumers. Finally, firms in the IT sector earned substantially higher profits due to immigration.
