I've been walking all winter; always before sunrise. I layer a bit and have a knit cap and put the hoodie hood on. Only missed a couple days due to rain. Never got too cold to walk. I stopped with the knit cap a week or so ago with the late Feb warm up.

As a Norwegian from Wisconsin, I never wore a hat this year, only a hood. There was only one day where I was uncomfortable and that was a few weeks ago on a Sunday evening when the temp was around 30, windy, with rain mixed in with a little snow.

40's and 50's basically feel "refreshing" to me.

If you're cold, go down to Saks, Barney's, Neiman Marcus, or Southwest Sports and pick yourself up a Canada Goose coat. They'll keep you warm.

I was in town during the "snow storm." It was a little chilly but I walked around in a just a suit coat. That said, I'd melt there in May never mind August.

Your skin changes and you adapt once you live here. The acclimation takes a season. Since it's early Spring expect the last throes of Winter and the nice temperatures that grow flowers that comes with a rain snow mixture. Dress in layers so you can stay warm and cool off in the same day.

OMG the first year I was in Vegas... my eyes. My EYES! I had to buy those gel eye drops my eyes were so dry and ridiculously red feeling like sandpaper.

After a year or two you acclimate.

On the flip side... allergies? First 2 years nothing then BOOM. I'm definitely allergic to olive trees and date palms. Anyone else?

My neighbor said his olive tree seemed kinda soft and he doesn't like my African Sumac. Offered to pay to cut it down. I asked if he wanted to trade. LOL
