Here is a google list of house cleaning services in Las Vegas. house cleaning in las vegas - Google Search

As you can see there are several of them. To compete you'd need a pretty good advertising budget, and you'd need to speak Spanish or have someone you trust that does. You'd also need a lot of patience to deal with the labor problems, as well as, probably, with immigration.

Besides these licensed businesses there are at least several hundred if not thousands of cleaning ladies working for themselves as day laborers, or contracted labor, mostly for cash. Most of them are Hispanic, usually from Mexico.

We have a very nice lady every other week. She can do in 3½ hours what it used to take my wife and I two days every weekend to get done.

You hate your cleaning lady? They are a dime a dozen so get a new one already. I've never had one that I didn't like. I really hated to see our last one go. Her husband wanted to go back to Mexico because he couldn't find a good job here, so she found someone to take her place, and she is also very nice.

I'm curious too on how much they charge. I promised my hubby that in the Fall, when I don't have to pay a $300 a month bill for all day kindergarten anymore, that we would hire someone to come in every 2 weeks.

I get charged $65.00 for two hours, two workers. And that's just basic, top cleaning stuff.

No laundry, no bed making...just furniture dusting, vacum carpet and sweep/wash all the tiled/wood floors, scrub the bathrooms (3) shake out all the scatter rugs, wipe off and shine the appliances and countertops...

$80.00 every other week for almost 2500 square feet. If are caught up in cleaning every weekend yourself like we were it's worth it to get your weekends back. Usually the owner comes but sometimes she brings a helper. Takes her about 3 to 3½ hours.
