Las Vegas is a one trick pony (although they are trying to diversify the economy, very SLOW process) but Phoenix is way ahead as far as a diversified economy. Phoenix will be in a much better shape when things fall again. Las Vegas, not so much.

Not clear. The bubble present in the prior recession is not present. And note that Las Vegas pays blue collar workers much better than Phoenix or say Dallas.

I would expect damage in both LV and Phoenix but no place near as bad as last time.
