If you must buy. A 37th floorTrump studio at $224,900 might be a decent buy.

You sold at the right time, as the market cooled or leveled off right after your sale.

Went to see the new 2 story duplexes that D.R. Horton is building up at the new Valle Vista community at Elkhorn road between Aviary way and Decatur. They are huge inside. Prices are only in the $200,000's. The realtor said that most of them come already upgraded, so no additional costs. Upside: Huge inside, all windows are energy star, you do not hear any outside noise with them closed, lots of bedrooms. One has 4 bedrooms, with a 3 car garage(one 2 car and 1 car)one has 3 bedrooms. With a 2 car garage. Great for families. Downside: No individual yards. The models do have the wall around both of them, but nothing separate. All you get for each is a tiny patio. I asked why they did not include yards, because I think most people want at least a small yard, I know I do and I have one. (a small yard)

She said they decided to do parks with barbecue's, plenty of places for families to meet and kids to play, a dog park for the furry one's, instead of the yards. A new concept she said. And that a lot of the younger families want that type of experience, always hanging out with their neighbors. Will the dogs end up being miserable, not having a yard to lay out in? The upside is no chronic barking dogs in the yards, because there are none.

Default NV lost 4.000 jobs?

How can that be? Anomaly? Or the world is coming to an end.

I looked at the photos on their web site. Those places do look nice and very spacious, but they neglected to include any pictures of the tiny patios.

I visited the various "Pointe" communities last month. Most of the floor plans had a lot of wasted space. If you were going to stack multi generations in there, I could see how it would work. Not shockingly, there other visitors out there at the time were 3 gen families -- grandparents, parents and children.
