Sorry, but someone had to say it. And stop giving advice on where to live and other Las Vegas insights until you’ve lived here at least a week.

Jonathan lol - oh boy. I'd always heard that too but my friends there irl would tell me differently. They never felt unsafe nor lived in a ghetto. Much of it isn't really ghetto either. Every part of the metro has good and bad parts of it.

Plus there's like 17 regular NLV members and former members on here that will disagree.

Here, know your audience.

How is Aliante - 89 page thread

North/Northwest Las Vegas talk - 105 page thread

I've consolidated my drawings of what I know of North Las Vegas area for the good parts and the bad parts. The parts I don't know I left blank like around the airport. I included a third map so you can see where Sunrise is, east of NLV, and other neighborhoods.

One of my fellow medical wives shared with me not to be afraid to live near the VA. She showed me that there's a million dollar home community just near there by Shadow Creek Gold Course, and said that people watch out for each other.

For an actual map of NLV this is from their city page for their wards. LINK

I agree. Needs to chill.

@Merry Lee Gather, I didn't know 89052 was part of Anthem! I always thought it was Henderson. Thanks

I think you have a gift for selective listening or either people are just telling you what they think you want to hear.

I would even drop that yellow area down to Cheyenne Ave. Many new houses and townhomes have been built in the last few years. Low crime areas.
