You might follow your own advice. The top economies in Latin America in terms of gross GDP are Brazil and Mexico. Venezuela is not 10% of either. Venezuela does even worse in GDP per person.

Rich is gross GDP. But it is and was never true on per capita. And your factor of ten is absurd.
