Please note that although you can sell drinks in Michigan at age 18, you can't drink until age 21. That, to me, is more hypocritical than Nevada's law. At least we're consistant.
Talk about inconsistencies - when I moved to Oklahoma in the mid-1970s they had two drinking ages - 18 for women, 21 for men. I was 20 when I moved there to attend college. In Florida I could buy beer before I graduated high school (the drinking age was 18 then), but I had to wait almost six months after moving. Oklahoma had other bizarre alcohol laws that I won't go into here.

IMO Vegas, meaning the people who do the hiring around here, lack imagination in their definition of attractiveness in both male and female. Whatever happened to that spark, That je ne sais quoi!

I see the same thing everywhere I go: Blonde Barbie McHuge Boobs and Gristle McThornbody Thicknecks.

Not that there is anything wrong with the Bulk Vanderhuge Hardpecs of the world. I just think there could be a little more variety. That's all.

And FYI: Michigan has beautiful people too

Of course; but I was not posting about "area of origin"; but rather "area of perception".

In Vegas most cocktail server jobs are at a casino. I work at one in Connecticut, Mohegan Sun. In order to even walk on a casino gaming floor you MUST be 21 years old. Dealers, cocktail servers, EVS, pit bosses etc, all casino workers that have to step foot on the floor must be at least 21 years of age. That is why it differs. Legally a bar back in a casino service bar can be only 18 years old, but my casino no longer hires them either unless 18 due to headaches of going for something the bar is out of, if the bartender gets busy or just wants to go to the bathroom, can't leave the under-aged ones to watch the bar for you or make drinks. Hope this helps someone who has the same question, I know that was an old thread.
