One of our Founding Fathers once remarked: Nothing educates people more vigorously than a bomb!

Of course, he was referring to the British, getting the British out of our country, centuries ago!

The only thing that reduces speeding is slim roads. That is a philosophy city planners in Portland, Oregon have been implementing for the last few decades, and they are one of the cities with a Vision Zero(zero road fatalities) mandate.
This is interesting, not sure how accurate this webpage I found was since I would have ranked the countries in order of safety without knowing their lane widths.

If true though, I wish all the roads were redesigned so the widths are at 3m/10', but it's unfortunate that you can't add more lanes without having the effect of increasing the number of accidents (according to the studies). It would make bus and bicycle lanes an option I suppose.

So many of those broad avenues in Las Vegas have been referred to as Mormon roads, as you must recall that Las Vegas was originally a Mormon settlement. The Mormons wanted roads, wide enough, so they could do a U-turn with their horses and stagecoach without either going around the block or backing up.

Jeff Speck, a city planner who speaks about walkability, talks about wide streets and how it induces speeding. My post is just a copy and paste of his talk.

I drove on roads that were 10 feet wide per lane in Ireland.

It's a stupid idea.

I was following the shooters truck for a good mile on Eastern before getting into the inner left turn lane at Charleston intersection. I have both front and rear dash cam coverage of the incident that's already been turned into METRO. If I provide proof. Do you agree to leave this forum for good and never come back.

Well done. And this person is just a troll. He will not take your offer as trolling here is one of the few pleasures of his life

Hola Amigo, perhaps next time you decide to post a thread you can leave your politics at home?

There is a seperate forum here, don't be afraid to post, even if you may be intimidated by the average level of intellect being too high.
