To sum it up, Raiders received permission from PUC to leave NV Energy and find alternative suppliers at market price.

In response, NV Energy lowered their price and built in provisions to match market price going forward. So Raiders agreed to the new pricing structure and voila a contract was signed.

Other than that, it's the standard Al Gore crap about carbon credits and how a big company will magically use less power because their credits (aka TAX) are too costly.

Who cares how much energy the Raiders use as long as it’s renewable.

The much bigger question to me is if we can root for the Raiders. I have never been a huge fan. I want to be supportive of everything Las Vegas but... the jury is still out on this one. Until then it's go Ram's!

I grew up in Jacksonville, so I am a Jaguars fan. I will support the local team in every other game. Fortunately they don't play that often.

I only have one favorite team: whomever is playing against Seattle, unless it is New England, in which case I want both teams to lose.

Well why not, right? Maybe a fresh start and support here will get them on track.

It all comes down to winning. If the Raiders win when they get here there will be plenty of fans.
