I have to wonder if these guys say the things they do in order to try and stop the growth by scaring people away. If so I might want to join them.

As always I do not agree with any of these unemployment numbers or statistics. If someone is looking for a job they can get it, there are always plenty of jobs. The problem is people don't want to settle for anything less, so they just sit there waiting for the perfect position to open up.

it is interesting to see that the unemployment rate in vegas is less than california or new york.

Are you saying Nevada vs. Cali or NY... or Las Vegas vs. New York City and LA or Bay Area?

Default jobs in las vegas

Hello,

Do you have a college diploma or specialization of some sort? That would help you. I am moving with those two items. I hope things work out for you!

i was just saying that based on that first list, california and new york have a higher unemployment rate, thus making nevada not as bad as many are saying.

great to see vegas number two on the forbes list.

I know a few people with 2 jobs just to make ends meet. No one said it was easy living in LV, but there are jobs to be had in other industries other than the service/casino. Heck, I wish more good auto mechanics would move here because this town lacks that for sure.

honestly, it's not easy to make ends meet anywhere, hence why so many people are on this thread trying to move to vegas.
