On Christmas a neighbor and I are planning to get together and order Chinese food. I wrote into the Nextdoor.com app and was given a few recommendations in the 89117 zip code. I think we will try China Mama, on Jones. Great reviews and it is in Chinatown.

The Krazy Buffet on Cheyenne and Rainbow is now called something else. I'm guessing it's just this location or others as well?

I know it's not a good reason to avoid the place but I'm put off by the name.

I have been here about 8 months and do miss what we used to call Chinese food. I have been hankering for mu shu pork.

I think one of the changes we are seeing is the maturation and next generation of families going into other lines of work. I have noticed it in the midwest too. What we see now is more Thai and Vietnamese and combination restaurants. I know a lot of folks like Pho but I am not as much into that.

I think people are going for more healthy options these days. Thai and Viet food tends to be more healthy with less breading, frying and sugary thick sauces that American style Chinese food tends to have that most people are use to getting. I kniow I would rather have a bowl of Pho any day.
