I don't agree being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans is great leadership.

Shocked it took about 7 comments for someone to say something.

You should be embarrassed of your racism.

Should.

I thought the Fed's Easter timeline was a little ambitious and the end of April would be a better indicator of how this thing is going. I'm as stir-crazy as anyone (and really need a haircut) but admittedly am a little scared by the whole situation.

Wife is an RN at Dignity St. Rose but as a care-coordinator doesn't really have much patient contact. We have some concern about that but not to the point of paranoia.
I think Sisolak will extend it till end of April at least.

The number of positive coronavirus cases in Nevada reached 1,113 as of Tuesday morning, and death reach 23.

If we open non essential business on April 17 especially hotels, people will travel from coronavirus hot spots which will spread virus everywhere and we will be next hot spots in US.

Thanks, WestieJeff. I almost choke every time I see the words "Trump" and "leader" in the same sentence. This is the same man who is bragging that he knows as much as the doctors do, who is telling physicians in New York that they don't need the ventilators that they have asked for, and who has accused members of my profession (I'm an RN) of creating the shortage of personal protective equipment by stealing it and selling it (without any evidence whatsoever that this is happening). Yeah, I'm going to steal N95 masks and make a few bucks from selling them, then potentially die from a COVID-19 infection because my facility was out of PPE.

That man couldn't buy a coherent thought.

Yeah, he has done all of those things. Except, he hasn't done any of those things.

I'm not sure that is going to be necessary based on this latest announcement:

It's just an advisory. Travelers are urged to self-quarantine for the full 14 days or the duration of their visit, whichever is shorter. They should not visit any public place or come into contact with people outside their immediate household.

Who will come to Vegas just to stay in hotel room?

They will have a contact at airport, and taxis, and casino and hotel employees and all those people who have contact with them will have contact with families and friends.

And if it's not mandatory all those stupid traveler who travel in the middle of COVID-19 crisis , they will likely walk on strip and go eat at restaurant.

They are like people who go take ship cruise travel.

This thread is a textbook example of Godwin's Law and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Here is the definition of Godwin's Law:

Godwin's law is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"; that is, if an online discussion goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds, the point at which effectively the discussion or thread often ends.

We could have fun defining Trump Derangement, but it would trigger massive Godwin's no doubt and go nowhere
