By middle of April many of the major Pharmaceutical companies in America will have 250million Hydrochloroquine pills manufactured, enough for 46 million treatments. You'd think we can open up society before April 30th.

Given the increased acceptance here in the states not one, but as many as seven different pharmaceutical companies have agreed to mass produce as much as 250 million doses by mid-April. Given Dr. Raoult’s guidance in both of his studies this would give the globe enough inventory to cure 46,000,000 cases. Presently we have not yet hit one million cases worldwide. Notably Bayer, Novartis and Teva Pharm stepped up, pledging to donate several million doses right out of the chute.

I read Novartis has 30 million pills in surplus they are donating to the effort.

It's turning out to be a very effective prophylactic. They should issue to every healthcare worker (currently happening in India), The sick, then everyone over 60, immediately.

The question now is if Sisolak will let Nevada open up in two more weeks like it was originally proposed. As far as Las Vegas is concerned, if it does open back up, who is going to come here?

I thought the Fed's Easter timeline was a little ambitious and the end of April would be a better indicator of how this thing is going. I'm as stir-crazy as anyone (and really need a haircut) but admittedly am a little scared by the whole situation.

Wife is an RN at Dignity St. Rose but as a care-coordinator doesn't really have much patient contact. We have some concern about that but not to the point of paranoia.

There are trials going on but so far no evidence that it works. But yes that is a lot of pills.

Does your wife have an idea as to whether or not any of the St. Rose hospitals are being inundated with coronavirus patients? I am trying to get a sense for what the current situation is at hospitals around the valley. Any insights you can provide would be appreciated to help get a better understanding on what is actually happening.
