Las Vegas is done!!! I don’t know if people who live there still comprehend how much damage COVID will do to that ugly and disgusting desert city.

No more easy money with #1 SCAM in Las Vegas = Real Estate. Everyone will be poor and bankrupt soon.

Vegas strong branding will take care of that once there is disposable again to spend.

It's Gollum. Our regular realtor hating troll. Been a couple years.

I think Vegas will lure people back with cheap flights, cheap rooms, waiving resort fees, free drinks, great food, great shows, popular sports entertainment like hockey and football, and maybe if we're lucky waiving parking fees too.

Hopefully the Golden Gate Casino Hotel will make constructive use of the down time by sanitizing the 100 year old stale cigarette smoke and rancid body odor.

Tourism will take care of itself. Discount airfare is a long time marketing slogan for multiple airlines--those companies will continue to offer cheap fares, not cheaper. The Strip will fill up quickly. Raiders weekends. Conventions. Sheesh. The town will bounce back. Too much weed to be consumed, too many day pool parties to ignore. The big houses are not going to give up too much to fill rooms, but it would be a good opportunity to abolish paid parking and blame the virus instead of corporate greed--or reduce resort fees...lol.

How will they lure visitors back? For the non-business visitor they can offer good deals on lodging coupled with cheap airfare. For the business traveler, they can offer discounts on convention packages and lodging.

I think by summer time people will be itching to have a 'vacation'. Vegas can be nice destination because who doesn't want to come to Vegas for a 'cheap 3 day getaway'.

Consumer behavior tells us that most people will want to spend and not save- and we know that there will be money out there (in some capacity) because of the stimulus package.

BUT the kicker in all of this, is whether people will risk catching COVID.... with no vaccine and no quick treatment , that risk may impede some people from traveling.
