From the poll I started, and another by someone else, we can conclude that the majority of posters on this forum approve of both Steve Sisolak and his closure of non-essential businesses. Now let us take this a step further with the impact of it. I have a new poll with 3 choices where you can remain anonymous. Personally, the closure of non-essential has resulted in me being temporarily laid off which has tripled my normal income. I still do not support the directive, but that is not what this poll will be about. It is only about the financial impact on you. While I do not support the closure of non-essential businesses, the financial impact on me has been positive.

No it is not. I always put my own opinion in any poll I start. The financial impact of the closure of non-essential businesses has not been addressed in any thread or poll on here yet.

If I were you, I would donate that extra income to someone in need. Seems to go against your personal constitution.

I have been against it from the start, and that has not changed. Otherwise, I have posted about my personal situation many times on this forum, and I definitely qualify as someone in need myself. I posted this just 3 days ago in another thread.

It still runs perfectly, but it recently started smoking when I start it up first thing in the morning. It only does it when I first start it up, but not when it is driving. I am constantly having to add oil to it when I did not used to, and it keeps getting slower and slower. That tells me the engine is on its way out. I paid $1,200 for it back in 2004, so I have done very well it. It is time to let her go to automotive heaven.

I need a new car, so part of the money will go towards that, and the rest will go into savings to counter the high inflation from the federal reserve's expanding of the balance sheet.

Sounds like it needs new rings and an O2 sensor.

Katie, if you drive less than 5,000 miles a year, you're also eligible for a classic plate and no smog. Just an FYI.

It has got 364,000 miles on it with the original engine, so it just time to let it go and get something new. It is so slow and outdated that it would not be worth putting any money into it. I am going to be smart again and buy my next car with cash.

Do you know if I can keep my Veteran plates if I drive under 5K miles and still get no smog?
