You just cannot make this stuff up folks, this is real! Be sure to vote for more crime, more criminal-care than citizen-care and protection. He and his judicial activist buddies got their way which means you will suffer more. Tell him thanks at the polls. Don’t forget!

Prisoners will be released back into the community now and he is good with it like he was good with releasing his own crime-fighting personnel.

I wanted this guy gone as soon as he had no conclusion to the 10/1 investigation. I watched his press conference today. He looked.... flustered. I hope he quits. Las Vegas deserves better leadership.

I saw that earlier. Pisses me off so much. In every state that does this released cons murder, rape, rob, and beat people. I say whoever released them should be held 100% accountable.

I actually read the whole article so I agree with releasing them. These are non-violent people, not rapists, murderers, child molesters etc. A large percentage of these inmates are drug offenders who IMO should not even be there in the first place.

Exactly.

Plus, Las Vegas isn't the only place in the nation that's doing this. Cook County in Chicago has released about 1/4 of its jailed population.

The jails or prisons aren't just arbitrarily releasing people back into the public.

Did you know that criminals tend to do criminal things? Especially when they just got let off the hook early.

I did read the article, by the way. I just disagree with it entirely.

Sounded to me like there were a good number of offenders who broke parole and got thrown back in the clink.

And of course, Lombardo can't be bothered to stick a bracelet on their ankles.

Can this guy be bothered to do anything? You know, like actually investigating 10/1 and publishing a conclusion?

Oh yeah? How'd they end up back in the clink then?

If they were totally non-violent drug offenders then they would not have had their parole or probation rescinded.

Something happened. To me, it seems, these are exactly the people who should remain locked up because they f*cked up, got handed a chance to do the right thing, and f*cked up again.
