Hygiene theater must continue until the hysteria subsides.

Hygiene theater indeed. I finally went to get a haircut. No sitting in the waiting area. All they did was move the chairs from the inside near the window to the other side of the window outside. Same setup, just 4 feet away on the sidewalk. You still sat 2 feet away from the person next to you. The masked haircut lady inside said they were all afraid they were being used as a test since other business's that didn't get anywhere near as close as they do to their clients were not part pf phase I.

HOT OFF THE NEWS PRESSES: Looks like this worthless Gov has scared the NBA away! We are talking about NBA playoffs.

Now they are leaning towards Orlando. This is it becomes reality is a hundreds of millions in loss.

Looks like union members who voted for him and any other get what they voted for, going broke and an economic downturn that will last for a decade. Sheep!

"Hundreds of millions in loss" to have teams, with no fans, take some hotel rooms for a few weeks!? I would say that's a HUGE exaggeration.

Sure I'd rather they come to Vegas, give Vegas more exposure, etc... but it's not huge like if they could bring fans in the arena. That would be an epic fail to lose that opportunity.

IMHO, it has more to do with the fact that ABC and ESPN - official broadcast partners - are owned by Disney. I'm sure the Mouse and his gang are bending some arms harder than some old leg breakers in Vegas.

What, having the NBA playoffs here in Las Vegas (or not) will make or break this City??
I think there are just a few other events that take place here during the year- we're talking about normal times of course- that bring in a few zillion dollars. The NFL draft would have sold a few beers I imagine, e.g.
