Hi. I've become very dissatisfied with my primary care physician. He's one of those doctors who doesn't seem to care much about his patients and is already looking at his watch after five minutes so he can move you along to get to his next patient.

I'd love to get some referrals for primary care doctors, preferably in the Rainbow/SW Las Vegas/Enterprise area who truly care about their patients' well-being, have a good bedside manner and are extremely competent and knowledgeable.

If any of you have strong positive feelings about your primary care physician, I'd greatly appreciate a referral. Again, I'm looking for someone located more in central or SW Las Vegas and not someone located on the north side.

Thank you!

I don't have a strong recommendation, but I tried healthcare partners the other day and I was pleased with them. They operate in multiple locations in Las Vegas

I was with them for a while. They changed my doctor about once a year.

I wish I could help you find a doctor. But, my experience with them is not good. They seem to be all the same. Or it's the crappy insurance, who knows. I go to a doctor for the bare minimum of anything. Just want a medication refill for several months, and maybe have some things looked at that may be bothering me. No, I can never have that. They all want to grab a hold of you tightly, order tons of tests, send you on referrals until you scream. I hate pushy doctors. The more they push, the more I resist. Good luck finding a decent doctor that you will like. You could also ask on Nextdoor.com for your area. Just sign up for your neighborhood. A lot of very helpful people there too.

Epitomedical or Parker Medical if you're willing to pay for the concierge level access.

I almost went to this doctor before when I did not have insurance. He also takes cash and the prices are lower than other doctors that take cash. He works with patients. He had good ratings as well. Something to consider.

It is a lot of trial and error and possibly waiting 2 months to be seen by a quality provider, I have no complaints with Nevada Health Centers and Cleveland clinic is great depending on your constellation of symptoms

My guy there trained at NIH under the tutelage of some of the best neurologists in the world. He is actually a movement disorder specialist. I have this somewhat rare condition called Cervical Dystonia and it greatly diminishes my quality of life. Eventually I may need a brain stimulator implant in the Globus Pallidum area of the brain.

I caught a provider fraudulently billing Medicare for services that were never done. They eventually recouped their money but where was my Qui Tam whistle blower reward? Then I learned you have to hire a lawyer first.

Caveat after reading your entire post: My PCP is in North Las Vegas. Cleveland clinic is more or less downtown.

I saw Dr. Rama Harouni for a while a few years ago when she was with Dignity Health. She quit and wasn't sure where she was going at the time. I agree she is a good Doctor. It appears all the good Doctors are now concierge.

I'm in good health and have excellent insurance benefits, I don't really want to pay out of pocket for a Doctor I only need to see once a year for a physical and once every six months to get prescriptions refilled. I'm in the Seven Hills area of Henderson. Any suggestions?
