Do tell the story. Perhaps in a new thread somewhere on the forum . . .

On CNBC today the reporter said "Las Vegas has never been busier" which may be a bit of an over-statement but tells me that things are very far along towards getting back to normal.

But 500 people a day are still dying from this virus . . . common sense tells me that even with two vaccine shots to continue to wear my mask and keep some distance no matter where I go.

Default Yes

Never keep it inside. You are years past time for a charge. Risk takers are fun. Let people know.

Yes, 500 deaths per day, in the USA.

Another new neighbor.

And a different new neighbor:

And yet different still new neighbor:

It seems owning a sports cars is a requirement to move into my neighborhood. My 16 year old beat up SUV makes me feel like I don't fit in.

I admire them, even though I'll never own one.

You would love our cul de sac. Across the street neighbor has a 6 car garage...3 tandem places. Has a very neat hot rod, A 60s sedan. A couple of pick up trucks and sometimes something else.

Next door neighbor is a snap on tool dealer. Has a Snap On truck, A 40 foot RV, A 35 foot boat, An old but perfect VW beetle, A new upper end Cadillac. And a non descript sedan.

We have only our 2007 Toyota Avalon though it is in excellent shape...trying to hold on a couple of years and then going electric.

The fourth house is a 10 bed nursing home. Half a dozen cars come and go.

We all own the street in front of our homes so no trouble with parking. We also like each other which keeps the friction down.

It does seem like Las Vegans love their cars and toys.

I'm used to only having one car (minivan) for myself and
my husband having his own car (Hyundai Sonata). Since
starting our cross-country move, we picked up two other vehicles
which will eventually get sold: a 22 passenger bus and a
17' retired U-Haul moving truck. We only have 2 of the 4
in Las Vegas though.

My neighbors have a minimum of 4 cars per house and most
seem to also have a RV or 5th wheeler or trailer of some sort.
I haven't seen too many sports cars on our street but we have
a lot of empty lots in between houses as well.
