So I'm back to making more Limoncello.

My monster lemon bush has been going gangbusters...
can't pick them fast enough. I picked 80 lemons 3 weeks
ago and will probably pick another 30 this next week or
two.

while staying with a friend in CA, they had a lemon bush about 1/2 the size of yours. they had a bunch of them with the peels eaten off - the fruit wasn't touched, just the peel.

we discovered rats LOVE the peels. the picked every ripe fruit off their tree immediately & we proceeded to have adult beverages allll weekend long

Good morning, everyone! I'm hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction. I put "Las Vegas area assisted living " in the CD search field & I don't think I'm being specific enough. Lots of threads on assisted living but not directly to Las Vegas. Plenty on retirement. My friend's aunt will need to go into a facility very soon and neither of us are familiar enough with the Vegas area. Do you know of any threads already in play on CD before I start a new one?

We are looking on major websites & review pages, but what I'm really looking for on the forum is feedback from those who live in the Vegas area including Summerlin, Henderson, Paradise, etc., and have recommendations or warnings on specifics places. Someone from the aunt's family will be coming out from the northeast US, but we are hoping to hear some first-hand opinions.

Thanks in advance, and wow, that lemon tree is amazing!!!

I'm just curios -- how thick are the peels on your lemons compared to grocery store lemons? You have a green thumb!

That is so far from the truth! (literally back East, I tried to
kill everything in the yard...had pervasive poison ivy that kept
coming back).

The tree came with the house and in spite of my massive
underwatering, just is on steroids. I'm not too sure about
the peel thickness but the size of the lemons is easily 2-3 times
the grocery store versions.

So if you have a lemon plant growing and you use those lemons like peel the skin off and spread it around and leave the lemon with half the skin there does that attract birds, racoons, possums, cats, rats or does it repel these kinds of animals?
