If you suck in tech you suck and you'll struggle.
For someone with 'cutting edge skills', you'd think you'd be able to figure out a way to prevent that many people bothering you on a daily basis.... Unless of course, you just love that kind of attention.

What's "real value" to you? Cost of house? Overall cost of taxation? World class entertainment and restaurants? I am curious what you are looking for in Vegas.

Vegas says: Whatever. Newcomers are a dime a dozen. I can take you or leave you.

Yeah I send most of those spam recruiters to... spam. Good story though.

Just to add, I've been in tech 25 years and keep a few good recruiters and contacts handy. Not sure why you'd want to deal with all of the garbage recruiters, but I guess you know best.

Wow about as arrogant as can be. Cities owe you something? Cities decide what housing prices should be to stay competitive for people like you? If I was a "city" I would say we don't need your type around and ban you from coming. You are like the annoying seniors that come around and complain about schools getting too much money and too much being spent on roads to neighborhoods other than their own.

Did you buy or are you renting a place in Vegas?

If Vegas gets excessively pricey, where you would move to?

Just curious...

Please add Baker CA to that list. It has excellent value in home prices, quick access to the I15, a sweeping view of the desert, and is extremely close to the new Ivanpah Airport. Baker is definitely not boring! Bring your sidearm.

Ah yes Baker, the gateway to Death Valley....where it's a glorious 130 degrees in the summer. Excellent choice.
