New 2020 Honda Insight. No tinting other than manuf.

I want carbon, definitely. Iffy on getting the uv windshield tint. I live in Pahrump and commute to Nellis. % is TBD.

Any particular LV shops that someone can recommend? Good workmanship, stand by their products, etc.

One day job, preferably. Weekends great, but doubtful.

Figure on $300-350.... is that a good ballpark?

TIA

I have used Universal Auto Glass. I don't know what kinds of tint that they have, but I know that it is part of their business. I got a very good price on a windshield replacement from them, and they replaced power window actuators for me.

I used DC Tint about 5 years ago and was happy with their work. I think it was around $300 at that time for ceramic tint on regular 4 door car. I think the windshield was $100 extra, which I didn't opt for.

I remember they had a few different qualities of tint. I think I went with the cheapest ceramic.

I have a friend and client I have used for years. His name is Chris and he owns Las Vegas Auto Tint (corner of Cheyenne and Rainbow behind the Wendys). He backs up his work and does a great job.

Eco tint the best shop I have found in town check their yelp reviews. I highly recommend Llumar Air Blue 80 equals limo tint as far as Uv/heat but it’s clear so you can see at night. Then get a covercraft dash Sunshield to protect the dash.

Which tint won't interfere with garage door openers and radar detector? I had tint before and I had to get very close to the garage door to open it! very annoying.

So OP did you find your answers? what's the ballpark for a good brand of tint?

Eco tint Llumar air blue 80 won’t mess with garage door remote. Air blue 80 works as good or better than dark tint rejecting heat/sun.

I would also recommend Eco Tint. They did a great job on the wrap on my car and the prices was good. Many of the car clubs here in town use Eco Tint for their windows and their body wraps.
