I bought a house in June 2019, it was a bit over a year old. Mine property taxes are .932% of the purchase price.

The big difference is your home is almost new. Mine is 34 years old. NV depreciates the structure as it ages so your percentage will drop over the years.

Also we owned it during the great crash when all the values dropped greatly. Then the limit to increases has kept it from increasing nearly as fast as the property appreciated.

Property taxes are low here because the state hotel and sales taxes are high enough to allow it. Going forward, something has to give or tourism has to pick up quickly.
