How relevant are her remarks to COVID reporting in NEVADA?

Um...not sure where you're going with that - but since Nevada's policy change (if it is a change) is to follow the guidelines set by the CDC (instead of their own) - then, kinda, Sally's comments may indeed be relevant.

We're in for a lot of economic pain over the next couple or months.
Uhh yea because tourism is what drives revenue in business. If the casinos shut down, everything else suffers. The key is to keep the casinos open but enforce the safety guidelines. Oh but apparently, everyone's a scientist and thinks masks are useless. I could go to the strip and see lots of people not wearing masks. People have just been complacent over the past couple of months. We can control this virus if we just don't let our guard down.

I don't disagree with that, but why shut local businesses down?

You can't do this half assed.... All or nothing.

It's funny how stupid people are, if you aren't wearing a mask in crowded places with cases skyrocketing, then well, good luck to you

I don't think he'll shut down all local businesses. Problem with local businesses is the ability to adapt and make their services virtual. Some local businesses have done a good job making customers wear masks. Others....not so much. I really think the root cause of all this is people's inability to follow common sense health guidelines.
