If I'm sick, I can just ride an uber/lyft to the nearest emergency care facility. If I'm way too sick, I'll call 911 and get an ambulance. What other scenarios would I actually have the need to use a vehicle?
Before you commit to selling your car, why not just live this way for a little while and see if it works for you? Just leave your car in the garage for a month or two and pretend it doesn't exist.

Great idea. I have hardly had any need to drive since I started my groceries delivered door to door.

I do have to go to the Chase bank once a month though, but thank for Summerlin's amazing infrastructure I can just ride my standing scooter slowly through the paved sidewalks.

If it's too hot outside, I'll just stay home, otherwise I'll bring a backpack full of water with me if I have to go run some errands. I really can't think of any activities I shall rely my car for after I get groceries delivered door to door. I do have to go to the bank once a month or once every 2 months but I don't think I'd pass out just riding the scooter to Chase once a month.

Las Vegas has an extensive bus network which you can learn about here. Why not look for a bus route that connects grocery stores with where you want to live?

If I were in your shoes, I would sell the car. Buy a $2k clunker for cash. The annual car registration and liability insurance is cheap on 10 yr old cars.

Are they going to give you $100 like the website says? If they can't beat Carmax they'll give you $100 it claims. Let us know! Good luck!
