I'm looking to get my CCW permit but was wondering if anyone knew of a outdoor CCW class with COVID going on?

Try calling a local gun store?

My local sheriff actually had a list of approved CCW instructors available, but not sure if Clark County would do that.

There's a company called TeamDigit that does one-on-one training for $100. If I remember correctly, they're on the north side of town. Not sure if they can do it outside but they will apparently come to your home or office for an extra charge.

If that is the class you are required to take, then that is a very good deal....my class was $100 and there was at least 20 of us smashed into the classroom.

Just have to make sure the entity/instructor are 'approved' to administer the required instruction and tests that you have to pass to apply for the CCW.

Sounds good, is that who you used for your CCW?

You might try Invictus Training. I believe Chuck still does outdoor classes just over the hump. Really good guy & has been around a long time. He’s been my go to the last 15 years.

The classroom portion runs from early morning around 8 am until mid-afternoon. Then there is a written test and the shooting part of the test.

I doubt there would be many people that want to sit outside at this time of the year for that long. The classroom part of the course also has slides and videos which would be impossible to do outside.

The one place indoor I wouldn't worry about being is a shooting range. Because of the airborne lead dust created by gunfire, all legitimate gun ranges have hugely powerful ventilation systems. You're not going to get any kind of viral concentration in there. Of course if there's a regular classroom involved, all bets are off.
