thats strange, i think they tried the age thing in ohio and got their butt sued.....

It is federal law. Done properly they are air tight. But screw up...and away it goes. That is why most of the HOAs are very, very careful to enforce the age limit. If it is ever lost it cannot be recovered.

If I'm not mistaken, there are areas in Aliante that are not age-restricted.

If not, you can go a couple blocks south and find plenty of non-age-restricted bank owned property.

(Check out, for example, Eldorado subdivisions off Ann Rd.)

Aliante by itself is not age restricted. Just Sun City aliante to the north of the beltway. I live in the regular part south of the beltway.
