I'm moving to Vegas in about five weeks, and I was wondering if anyone happens to know of any good avian veternarians and/or any excellent herpetologists (reptile vets)?

I have two very healthy Cockatiels who only need a vet for yearly checkups, but I have an adult Chinese Water Dragon that had been abandoned at the pet store I work at last month. A lady found him chained to a fence post outside at a garage sale, laying in a mud puddle. She brought him into our store b/c the humane society doesn't accept reptiles (apparently?) He was clearly suffering from Metabolic Bone Disease, improper sheds, mouth rot and snout rub, but the vet here (Santa Barbara) said he was a-ok (not true!!) So I need a vet who doesn't just list "treats dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, etc." in the yellow pages, I need an actual specialist with a lot of experience, and it would be amazing if anyone has any personal recommendations. He's gotten a LOT better, but I still want to check in with an expert for blood tests, etc.

Any leads?

Hope this isn't too late, but Sun City Animal Hospital has a vet by the name of Dr. Ceballos (sp?). He does a ton of exotics in town not limited to but includingthe LV zoo, the MGM, shark reef, etc. Probably your best bet...
