Anybody know anything about the huge employment center at Bally's off flamingo?
The employment center at Bally's covers all the Caesars properties in the valley.

The OP asked a very broad question about getting "casino work." The OP didn't ask specifically about getting a dealer or slot person job.

All casinos are struggling to fill low-end positions, union or not. I think Culinary's situation where most people are only on-call is by design, is it not? That is they could get those people full-time hours but they'd rather ration the hours, especially for newer people.

If covid was bottom dead center of the casino business cycle, this would be a good time to get in at a major property, even at the bottom.

I am not sure were your coming up with the problem filling front line positions. The director of retail where I am employed has over 300 new applications on file for HR to prescreen for three part time cashers positions. The director of Housekeeping/PAD has no issues filling housekeeper or porter positions. Finance dept in charge of Casino Cage and Soft Count had no trouble filling a few positions within the last month from those who decided to retire during the pandemic. I pretty much agree on what you posted in the past based on my experience working as an exec director in the industry. But I have not seen or heard of this issue recently.

because the issue doesn't exist.. im going to walk right in to Bellagio and get a bartending gig since those positions are so hard to fill

once the extra bonus stay at home and don't work money is gone, there won't be a job to be found by just "walking in". well maybe for a job that no one wants
