I lived in Vegas for about a year and then decided to move back home. I am now planning my return to sin city! I am currently in school and plan to continue my education in Vegas. I have two small children so daycare will be a must. I was wondering if anyone knows of any programs that provide assistance? I currently live in Iowa and receive assistance for childcare since I am enrolled full time in school. If anyone can help me out with where to look for information on this I would appreciate it!

Are the kids in school yet?

If so, most schools offer before and after school programs for free (or nearly free). There are also plenty of year round schools out here, which can lessen the burden during the summer months.

There is a program I know of, but unfortunately it's not very popular anymore. It's where you finnish your education and become a contributing member of society before having kids that you can't afford. With this plan hard working tax payers aren't forced to pay for other's lack of planning, foresight, and basic common sense.

try the community college, though it is now known as CSN (College of Southern Nevada). They have a great child care program there, geared towards students so it's not outrageously expensive. It sometimes is hard to get a spot though, so check into it soon! Also try UNLV, they have an awesome child care program as well, and it's also in high demand. PM me for any more info if you need, good luck!
